I'm Will Lotherington. I strive to be a better learner, and I believe that consistent deliberate practice is paramount.

Currently, I'm a senior software engineer at Google. Lately I've been focused on interfaces between people and AI agents, and on how we can verify what LLMs build.

I came to software the long way. Previously I've been a marketing analyst, an industrial automation application engineer, a machine vision sales engineer, and a photographer/videographer. I made the switch by working through Launch School while holding down a full-time job, and wrote about it along the way.
